Seven Eyes will be performing wondrous soulful sounds from their debut album, The Seed, at
The Wonder Inn on Tuesday 28 March. The only North West venue on the band’s ten city UK
tour, The Wonder Inn, was chosen as a venue for its intimate setting and for its ethos of offering
a place of healing for the soul through all forms of creativity.

Seven Eyes was formed in 2015 by classically-trained guitarist Paulo Vinícius from Brazil and
UK-based vocalist, Tanya Wells who specialises in folk, jazz and Hindustani classical vocal
techniques. Live audiences have enthusiastically received their debut album, The Seed
in Europe, North America and Brazil. The album will be launched in the UK on March 25th at
The Tabernacle Theatre, London before the UK tour begins. The band took inspiration for The
Seed from the natural beauty of Brazil, where the album was recorded and merges the band’s
eclectic influences creatively exploring a confluence of cultures and languages, from Brazilian
rhythms to Hindustani ragas, and songs in English, Hindi, Portuguese, Sanskrit, Urdu and French.
For this tour Seven Eyes will be playing in a quartet format and will be joined by guest musicians,
including tabla maestro Shahbaz Hussain and Jasdeep Singh Degun on sitar, Marcello Moraes on
drums and Sergio Oliveira on electrical bass. The tour promises to plant the seeds of soulful
sounds taking us on a musical and magical journey not to be missed.

Creative India Magazine described Seven Eyes’ sound as ‘a gentle weave of traditions’
