You may have read my recent article on the Aumbry Winter Menu, which was exquisite, following on from that the team at Aumbry are welcoming back Deutz Champagne House this coming week for their 3rd annual Deutz Dinner on Wednesday 16th January 2013.
Deutz is the epitome of understated excellence. Founded in 1838, the House is situated not in the conspicuously commercial centres of Reims or Épernay, but amongst the vineyards of one of the region’s greatest villages: Aÿ-Champagne. This sums up Deutz’s approach, in which style is always matched by substance.
Tickets for the evening cost £85 and include arrival drinks & canapes followed by a 6 course dinner with carefully matched champagnes.
