After a month braving the elements outside on their lovely little terrace, La Bandera have flung wide open their doors and we can all sit inside and enjoy our fantastic Spanish food indoors!
Serving up some of the city’s best tapas and some truly unique Canary Island dishes, they’ll be getting right back to it – taking reservations from today.
They’ll be back to serving up their full menu of some truly wonderful tapas dishes, including their Croquettes which were recently voted The Best in Manchester.
Their most famous are their Croquetas de Chipirón (£6.50), Squid Ink croquettes which are a firm favourite amongst La Bandera’s many loyal customers – and the first thing we order here in the Finest office when we pop round.
Also on the menu are their legendary Gambas Volcán (£9.50), succulent king prawns with Canarian spices, white wine and fiery chillies, and the Bistec Asadores (£9.50); grilled flat iron steak in a unique Canarian MOJO ROJO sauce.
La Bandera have seriously upped their game with a selection of brand-new dishes, such as their Pollo al Ajillo (£7.50); chicken thighs in a garlic, chilli and white wine sauce, and Fabada Asturiana (£8.95) a homemade traditional meat stew with pork belly, chorizo and Spanish blood pudding.
After all of that tapas, you should finish off with a Pastel de Plátano (£5.50) a banana cheesecake made using the unique fruits grown on the volcanic slopes of Tenerife.
Alongside all of the food, La Bandera still lead the way with their phenomenal wine list – personally curated and designed by owner Yashin – featuring an impressive selection of small batch, local wineries from the Canary Islands.
So if you’ve been craving some seriously good Spanish food and want to celebrate in the atmosphere of a true Mediterranean eatery – get yourself booked in right now…
