The team, or rather family, behind the SEVEN BRO7HERS mini-empire take some beating. 11 siblings, divided into seven boys and four girls, they’ve firmly established respective reputations for making incredible beers and great gins, and now have a very visible presence on the Greater Manchester bar scene. Alongside sites in the city centre, 11 Central is a 2023 opening in and among the canals, basins, studios, museums and galleries at MediaCity and Salford Quays, enjoying stunning views from a 2,000-square-foot terrace by the water.

Fittingly, the SEVEN BRO7HERS brewery operation is actually based in our region’s beloved second city, and 11 Central is very close to that location, and where the owners grew up themselves. However, this establishment builds on their dedication to serving the freshest drinks by incorporating a brewery and distillery on-site. As such there’s probably nowhere else we know of where you can enjoy the company’s staples so soon after they are made. This also means customers have the option of celebrating any special occasions by making their very own gin to take away with them, making for the perfect gift.

Anyone who prefers to stick with produce crafted by the professionals can expect to find Helles Lager or Pilsner, Hoppy Pale, Juicy and Easy IPAs, alongside more specialised variations. For example, the Watermelon Pale, Honeycomb, Satin Stout, and Chocolate Honeycomb Stout, depending on what’s in the barrels, kegs and lines, and stocked in fridges by the can. This is in addition to an extensive list of spirits and wines. 11 Central is also very much a food-focused proposition, offering a full a la carte menu, bar food, breakfasts and a great Sunday roast. Sealing the deal for many, the spot is dog and family friendly, and has enough space to accommodate everyone. A quality addition to MediaCity-Salford Quays landscape.
