If you’ve lived in Manchester longer than a hot minute, the transformation of the area immediately south of the Gay Village will have been impossible to miss. Once home to the uninspiring buildings of MMU’s Aytoun Street campus, Manchester’s second largest higher education institution has since consolidated most of its estate at All Saint’s park in a win for turning this corner of town into a destination for all. Enter Kampus, a mixed use regeneration project billed as the city’s ‘garden neighbourhood’.

Now home to great eateries and drinkeries, footfall tells you how successful the redesign and rethink has been, hence SEVEN BRO7HERS deciding to open a pop-up bar here. Situated in a prime position overlooking the ‘secret garden’ that forms a focal point for the area, the esteemed brewery itself is located just down the road, making for some of the freshest beers you’ll find anywhere. Popular brews include the classic Juicy IPA, Session and Helles, all of which are made with the kind of passion needed to turn a family run business into a nationally renowned craft beer icon.

In addition to the hoppy delights, customers will also find a great selection of wines on offer, alongside spirits made by SIS4ERS DISTILLERY. For those who don’t know, SEVEN BRO7HERS is run by seven brothers, and, as the name suggests, the gins behind the bar are crafted with love in nearby Salford by their sisters. There’s a great variety to go at, too, from lime & thyme and strawberry infused bottles, though to a traditional dry. Booze aside, this spot regularly hosts live music and DJs, wellbeing, arts and craft events. Oh, and it’s well worth noting the long-term plan to open a permanent SEVEN BRO7HERS establishment in these parts, complete with four walls, roof, bar and kitchen. Watch this space.
