In this modern age, looking away from our screens and sitting back to listen to a story almost seems archaic. We are overwhelmed with the written word, but nothing has quite the same emotive power of actually hearing someone express themselves on a topic you are interested in.
Listening to a narrative is something 7 Stories wants to bring back into fashion with their new exclusive series of events. 7 Stories: an evening of stimulating tales is a talk event which will present seven accounts by seven people on a wide range of topics.
This is a new concept here in Manchester, and the first event takes place on Thursday 7th June with more of its kind to follow.
This event will feature six inspirational tales from everyday people and one keynote speech. These stories will focus on accounts of success, of triumph through adversity, stories of real local characters and their extraordinary lives with Manchester at its very core.
The Key Note speaker on the first 7 Stories talk will be Dominic McGregor- co-founder and COO at Social Chain. Dominic will be covering topics such as mental health, addiction, recovery and change all against the backdrop of developing his business. It is set to be an emotive and personal account of a dark period of his life and how he has come out triumphant.
The event will take place at Leaf on Portland Street on 7th June 2018. The first speaker will begin at 7 pm (doors open at 6:30 pm so you can get a great spot) and will run until late with some opportunity for networking with other ticket holders and the speakers themselves.
Food and drink will be provided, courtesy of Leaf which will be included in your ticket price of £10. There is an extremely limited number of seats at this event, so do not hesitate in snapping up your ticket as soon as possible using the button below.
