Heritage high street menswear brand Moss – formerly Moss Bros – has opened a new flagship store in the Arndale Centre.

The 3082 sq ft unit, now open to the public, has a spacious layout and a pared-back interior style that has been evident in other newly opened stores since its rebrand.

It has followed new stores opening in Watford and Oxford over the past six months, all of which boast the retailer’s new offerings, including its ‘Custom Made’ service, allowing customers to have a personalised suit made from scratch.

The store is also a showcase for the brand’s Autumn Winter 2023 collection, which ranges from knitwear to luxe outerwear.

“Our new store in Manchester is a celebration of everything Moss stands for today; modern British menswear and accessible style for all,” said Brian Brick, Moss CEO.

“We are excited to reintroduce the brand and our incredible AW23 collection to the discerning shoppers of Manchester, offering them a space to explore our product and experience our expertise first-hand.”

The new openings come alongside a number of innovative products from Moss, including the first-to-market Moss Box.

The subscription garment hire model allows customers to rent and return items from the Moss range, from suits through to casual wear. Users pay a monthly fee, starting at £65.

Moss has seen turnover more than double over the past year, from £38.6 million to £93 million from the same period in 2021.
