The last few years as seen a raft of high-rise buildings pop up in the city, where there was once just Beetham Tower (and to a lesser extent the CIS Building) there are now 5/6 huge glass monoliths that are now a part of the city’s skyline.
Like them or not they’re here to stay and there’s going to be more popping up over the next few years too. One of which is Viadux, a Salboy development right next to the GMEX, or the Manchester Central Convention Centre as it is now called.
Towering a massive 40 storeys high, Viadux will offer “generous living spaces, luxurious finishes and state of the art technology”, all surrounded by high-quality landscaping and private gardens, alongside a fully equipped gym, yoga studio and cinema with tiered seating.
There are also plans to expand the development into the Grade II listed viaducts, offering unique spaces for residents to relax and socialise alongside retail and hospitality space.
Apartments in the development will be going on sale from Saturday 8th August and start from £265,000. Construction looks set to take around 4 years.
