Joint owners of Manchester Arndale, M&G Real Estate and intu, have signed off 17,00 sq ft of space to two leisure occupiers – one of which is the ‘immersive digital adventure’ Electric Playbox.
Offering up an interactive digital room featuring projection mapping, touch screens, motion tracking and surround sound, the ‘playbox’ will create a hyper-immersive 60 minute adventure to play along with your mates or family.
The technology on display looks like something Buck Rodgers would struggle with, as you’re chased by aliens, looking for rare minerals or even saving the Queen’s corgis – all virtually and totally immersive.
