Movember is about more than just growing a stupid moustache to keep your upper lip warm in the cooler autumn months, it’s about taking action, breaking the silence and saving the lives of our fathers, brothers, uncles and friends.
The Movember Foundation is the only charity out there which is tackling male health on a global scale. They are addressing some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention. They focus to fund the most innovative research to tackle these issues. In 13 years, they have funded more than 1,200 men’s health projects around the world.
Their aim is to reduce the number of male premature deaths by 25% and Spa Satori in the Northern Quarter is helping them get closer to that goal.
Not only do they have a donation box in store for customers to donate to the cause as they wish, they are focusing on male grooming and pampering.
