Girl Gang Manchester, a collective of female, artists, activists, academics and creatives, have been banding together to put on an eclectic range of events in the city for some time now. From film screenings to exhibitions, to slumber parties, Girl Gang embraces strength in togetherness, positivity and creativity.
But now, this inspirational group is reaching out to the lonely women of Manchester. Their new project ‘Speed-mating’ aims to conquer the loneliness many young women face in the big city.
Their task? To create a relaxed, anxious-free zone to make new friends, one that’s so comfortable that you’ll step outside your comfort zone without even realising. Creative tasks and conversation are encouraged to help form genuine relationships with like-minded people.
After an initial sell-out run, ‘Speed-mating’ is back and you are not going to want to miss it. Come and join the friendship revolution.
