Road to Victory, the immersive football fanzone which took over Depot Mayfield in 2022, will return to Manchester for Euro 2024. Fans can ensure a viewing experience like no other in the Ducie Street mega-venue Diecast, which will have capacity for up to 3000 fans.
The action will begin in time for England’s first group match against Serbia on 16 June.
The experience promises to use the latest interactive technology to take watching the football to the next level. Fans can expect an immersive light show to heighten the drama at every twist and turn of the match.
Before and after the matches, there’ll be loads of entertainment too, with DJs, quizzes, special guests, competitions and more. Diecast’s NeoPan (Neapolitan meets NYC) pizzas will be available too, as well as various tatertot sides.
All of England’s group matches are being shown, with tickets for more matches becoming available as they progress through the tournament.
Diecast, in Piccadilly East, is home to 30,000 sq ft of space, with multiple areas depending on how you want to enjoy the experience. The Brooklyn-style Beer Hall will be able to hold up to 2500 standing fans with multiple screens and one large festival LED screen, while hospitality packages will be available to book in Leno Ex Machina for up to 300 fans. There’ll also be four private VIP Rum Town Caravans available, with up to 40 guests per caravan.
David Norris from production company AIX Live said: “World Cup celebrations were immense, now we’re looking forward to the next chapter on England’s Road to Victory with our unique and immersive fanzone at new home Diecast.”
Alisha Crompton from Diecast said: “The Road to Victory experience and Diecast go hand in hand, our Brooklyn Beer Hall and Leno are perfect for fans to enjoy the best atmosphere at the chicest football venue in town during the Euros.”
