Manchester has changed a lot over the years, but 2002 was a very big year. That was the year of the Commonwealth Games and its legacy remains with us. Manchester Cars was busy then and it’s even busier today and its service and fleet have expanded to meet demand. Manchester Cars remains headquartered in Manchester City Centre’s Gay Village and this year, in time for its 15th anniversary, it will give its HQ a modern facelift.

How have things changed at Manchester Cars? Nowadays it’s just as common to book a taxicab through your smartphone and you can track your driver right to your door – or wherever you happen to be. Thankfully, Manchester Cars never surcharges at the busiest times and in Manchester, you can guarantee that the one time that you need a taxi will be when traffic is at its peak!

This year, Manchester Cars guarantees that there will be no fare increases and to speed up the process passengers can grab a taxi right outside the city centre base, where vetted door staff will ensure your safety and security and you can even fix the price before you leave! On the weekends, the queue at the base can be so long that it goes all around the block. The great thing about the new smartphone App is that you can jump the queue and grab your ride without much waiting at all.

Manchester Cars connects with customers using its App, text messages, and social media. Facebook and Twitter pages highlight fun activities and events taking place in the Manchester City Region as well as promoting thriving local businesses and local causes.
