What: Dave Allen’s humour, outlook and life are brought to the stage.

Dave Allen had a unique outlook on life. He had a keen eye for the day to day idiocies, a gift for storytelling and a passion for the absurd.

This engaging one man performance explores the life and inimitable humour of a man acknowledged by many as the first alternative comedian.
Performed by award winning actor Kieran Cunningham, (best known at the Royal Exchange for his performance as Brendan in the award winning show THE FLAGS) and co-written with BAFTA nominated Steven McNicholl  (VELVET SOUP, LAUREL & HARDY, THE HOUSE), Dave Allen’s humour, outlook and his life are brought to the stage.

We’re pleased to present this premiere from newly formed CunningPlan Productions looking at the life of a much neglected genius. This will be part of the Manchester Irish Festival.
