Now in its 3rd year, the Imbibe Drinks List of the Year Awards aim to showcase the huge range of cocktail menus available throughout the country, and choose the best ones of the lot.
Cottonopolis managed to pick up two awards on the night, winning ‘Avant Garde list of the Year’ and ‘Drinks list of the Year Overall’.
Cottonopolis were one of only two Manchester bars up for awards, and so it’s a huge achievement to bring two awards back to the city in a competition made up mainly of London Bars.
The list that won them the award is their Third Edition Cocktail menu which is inspired by Japanese Idioms, take a look here:
Commenting on Cottonopolis’ menu, the judges at Imbibe noted “featuring only 13 cocktails, based on interesting Japanese idioms that manage to intrigue rather than alienate… it’s the super-stylish menu to end all menus in 2018.”
