Celebrating 20 years of Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Elizabeth Hurley to make a special visit to Manchester for a personal appearance at Selfridges Trafford Centre and to turn Selfridges Exchange Square pink today.
This year sees the 20th anniversary of Estee Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, and to celebrate this momentous birthday Estée Lauder Spokesperson and Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign Ambassador, Elizabeth Hurley, will make a special visit to Manchester for a personal appearance at Selfridges Trafford Centre and turn Selfridges Exchange Square pink on Thursday 11th October 2012.
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Elizabeth Hurley will arrive at Selfridges Trafford Centre at 1pm for an hour of meeting and greeting customers, fundraising for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and signing purchases from the must-have 2012 Evelyn Lauder Dream Collection. Customers will get a chance to snap up the stunning Evelyn Lauder and Elizabeth Hurley Dream Lip Collection presented in a stylish pink clutch bag and the collectable Evelyn Lauder Dream Compact autographed by Elizabeth Hurley in person. Also available is the Evelyn Lauder Dream Pin which this year contains a blue stone to represent the 1% of men diagnosed with the disease along with the countless men who are impacted by it. Donations from each product in the collection will go to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation* (www.bcrfcure.org) to fund its UK research grantees.

Following her personal appearance, Elizabeth Hurley will make her way over to Selfridges Exchange Square for Estée Lauder Companies’ annual Global Landmark Illumination Initiative, which will see her turn the iconic store facade a spectacular shade of pink. Guests and customers will be invited to the shop at 7:40pm, to witness this landmark illumination.
