Former Premiership footballer Emile Heskey is to join his fiancé on the pitch in a Charity Football match where WAGS, former premiership players, and celebs go head to head.

Emile Heskey has announced he is the latest addition to the squad playing at Salford City Reds Stadium on 4th August in aid of his fiancee’s charity One Goal Foundation. Emile joined a few of those playing in the celebrity football match as they trained today at Hale Country Club.

Former premiership footballer and England star Emile will be leading the male team of Ex Pro’s (which include former Sunderland manager Peter Reid and former Liverpool striker Ian Rush) as they face a team of actors, singers and models.

Emile enthuses:

“It’s going to be a great family fun day, ticket-holders will be treated to 2 matches. There’s Ex-Pro’s versus the male Superstars and then it’s WAGs against female Superstars. It will be great to play at the Stadium with some of my old mates. I’m also looking forward to cheering on Chantelle and the girls who are actually quite good!”

Chantelle leads the WAGs team along with her close friends Carla Kompany (wife of Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany) and Jessica Lawler (girlfriend of Villa’s Stephen Ireland).

All the money raised on 4th August will go to One Goal Foundation and the Celebrity Football Match will be a fantastic family day.

The Fun starts from 11am where there will be a mini fun fair and stalls around the Salford City Red Stadium grounds then kick off will be at 1pm followed by a celebration dinner for VIP ticket holders at 4pm.

One Goal Foundation still have some sponsor opportunities, if you are interested please get in touch with Mike Jennings at mike@sobeautifulevents.co.uk
