The newest addition to Peter Street is a fine dining restaurant that promises a seamless mix of Japanese and Mexican cuisines, where you’ll find the likes of Tempura and Sashimi alongside Tacos, Tostadas and shots of Mezcal.
Located in the old Opus One space within the Radisson Edwardian hotel, Peter Street Kitchen is looking to be a must-go destination in the city, with “an exquisite selection of contemporary Japanese and Mexican small plates, complemented with the finest wines, sake and signature cocktails.”
As well as an A La Carte menu which has never seen a globe before, Peter Street Kitchen are also offering a Rikyū Brunch experience, bringing the colours and flavours of Japan to rainy Manchester every weekend.
Brunch dishes include Sake-baked eggs with wasabi-rubbed rib-eye beef, Organic Salmon with dried red chilli and lemon shiso salsa and an extensive range of small plates – all washed down with some bottomless prosecco.
Will the people of Manchester be interested in a blend of Mexican and Japanese? I mean, I’m probably the fussiest person ever when it comes to restaurants and I wouldn’t mind giving it a go – so we’ll see.
Peter Street Kitchen is now open.
