Even if you didn’t like The Last Jedi (which I personally think is mint), and think the Attack of the Clones is probably the most boring 2 hours in the existence of film (that one’s true), you can’t deny the appeal of the original 1977 hit that kicked off this multi-billion quid franchise.
So this Saturday 1st December join the ‘talking bin’ R2-D2 and his gob-shite mate C-3PO as they meet Luke Skywalker, Ben Kenobi, Han Solo, Chewbacca and Princess Leia to fight Darth Vader and blow up the Death Star with one conveniently placed proton torpedo – this time with a live orchestra!
Each performance will be conducted by David Mahoney, with the score performed live to the film by The Novello Orchestra.
The original score, composed by absolute legend John Williams, won an Academy Award for Best Original Score and it has been selected by the American Film Institute as the greatest film score of all time.
