An unabashed homage to the exhilarating explosiveness of fireworks, this video shows a display of pyrotechnics that was set off in a gallery at FACT in Liverpool.
The black box of that video room, like the one within which the work is shown her at the Whitworth, is an unnatural location for fireworks.
The room is internally bombarded and filled with colour, sound and smoke, but manages to contain the energy of the display within its four walls.
