Manchester’s Finest recently visited Muse Bar and Eatery, run by ex-Hollyoaks actor Rob Norbury, for a taste of their winter menu and a peek at what NYE at Muse will have to offer.
Situated in Uppermill (a village in Saddleworth), Muse, has recently been transformed in to stylish eating and drinking establishment, spread out across a number of characterful buildings on the high street that have taken on the look and feel of a city centre bar and eatery.
The invite only event hosted by Norbury, was an evening of lavish festive decoration, cocktails, and canapés. In attendance were residents of Saddleworth, as well as local celebrities and a few familiar faces from the North Manchester restaurant scene.
The evening got off to a lively start with ex-Coronation Street actor Craig Gazey on the decks. Later, guests were invited to try several tasters from the winter menu. There were a number of standout canapés prepared by Muse’s chefs, including popcorn chicken, a thai fusion, and cheese croquettes.
With its cool decor, not dissimilar to the likes of Artisan in Manchester’s Spinningfields, Muse is a great space for locals who are looking for somewhere to have a night out without venturing in to the city centre.
Muse will be hosting a New Year’s Eve party with a free bar and canapés for those attending, and it looks set to be a great night.
