By now I’m sure you all know HOW good the brekkie is at Federal, and if you don’t believe me take a look at the loooong queue out the door on a weekend morning. Last weekend we tried their all-day brunch menu, which included this smashed avo and poachie concoction. Served on sourdough with chilli salt and house pickles, we added crispy bacon to our perfectly poached eggs for that little something extra.

Look at them in all their splendour. These babies are the Rotolini from Tre Ciccio which are basically BAKED PIZZA BITES. Read that again. Stuffed with Italian cured ham, fior di latte cheese, tomato and basil, these are every pizza lover’s dream.

Kiera and Aimie from Feel Good Club have been on a mission to make us feel good since March. Well, we couldn’t feel any better because their Wellbeing Coffee House & Bar opens THIS WEEKEND! I headed over to sample some of their goodies and trust me when I say you guys are in for a treat with their selection (especially this Beetroot Latte). Gorgeous decor, vibes and coffee – get yourself down for their opening this weekend and support small.

One of my favourite veggie offerings in Manc, Alvarium has reintroduced it’s lunchtime offerings and it includes this bad boy. Here’s the Sausage Butty with shiitake sausages, courgette peperonata and curried yoghurt – it’s proper lush. Add yourself side and a cheeky lil bev and it’ll only set you back NINE QUID, I’d say that’s a sweet little lunchtime deal, wouldn’t you?

Here at Finest, we love most things that come out of the kitchen at The River Restaurant, I for one was BUZZING when I found out that they are now serving up a Bottomless Brunch (which includes cocktails and not just fizz – always a winner in my eyes). Perfect for when you’re feeling a bit boujee and want to impress your company – I promise the bottomless brunch here will not disappoint. PS, you’re going to want to try their smoked salmon.

Sicilian NQ is serving up a long list of sweet and savoury Sicilian dishes that are truly excellent over in the Northern Quarter. After hearing mad reviews for this dish, I nipped over this week and tried their Worldwide star “La Brioche’ Siciliana” sweet bun (which comes with 2 gelato flavours inside). There’s no Mr Whippy here – Sicilian NQ uses only the finest and authentic gelato. This is filled with cherry & chocolate chip and it’s absolutely bloody stunning. Well worth a visit.

Say bye to soggy, gloopy sweet and sour because TATTU NOW DELIVERS. You heard that right. For the first time ever, our favourite flashy Chinese in Spinningfields have launched an at-home delivery service so us lucky lot can enjoy their fine dining from the comfort of our sofas. Here’s the sweet and sour pork which comes with chunks of pineapple, banana shallots and dragon fruit. The perfect balance between sweet and sour, the dish arrived piping hot and was the ideal level of tangyness for my liking. Wash it down with one of their pre-packed cocktails and enjoy a super fun alternative date night like I did.

I don’t know about you guys but I’ve been waiting for something like this to land on the Arndale Market. The perfect treat for when you need a full belly – you’re going to want to order one of these proper Italian Pasta Boxes. Choose your box, pick your pasta, choose your sauce then add your extras – easy peasy and 10/10 recommend.
