Trof has launched warming winter menus with traditional hotpots and roast Cheshire turkey

With Christmas literally just around the corner, restaurants and bars are filling up with festive punters looking to wine and dine themselves into the season – and Trof serves as a cosy base for doing just that.

The restaurant that sits in the heart of Northern Quarter has launched new menus that are made to be enjoyed across winter whether you’re after a private hire for your office Christmas party, or an intimate dinner for you and your friends.

Trof’s Christmas set menu can be enjoyed as two- or three-courses and features classic dishes such as the prawn cocktail with new England dressing and pork rillettes with pickled cherries to start. 

For the main courses, diners can choose from roast Cheshire turkey with seasonal vegetables, roast potatoes, pigs in blankets and lashings of gravy, as well as a braised shin of beef and Mushroom, cranberry, bean filo pie.

To finish, Trof is offering a menu of tasty desserts with gingerbread cheesecake, warm chocolate orange mud pie and sticky toffee pudding all making the list. Two-courses will cost you £23 and three £27, and the menu is available for pre-booked reservations of up to 36 people. It will be available for walk-ins from the 19th – 24th December.

Alongside its Christmas food, Trof has also launched a ‘Hot Pot Party’ buffet menu for £25 per person or £30 with desserts. It features traditional dishes such as slow cooked lamb hotpot, homity open top pie and festive filo pie with an array of side dishes to choose from. 

This menu is Only available for larger bookings in the restaurant’s function room space. Its Montana Lounge is available for up to 20 people every day of the week, or the bourbon bar private hire can cater for up to 60 people, from Monday to Thursday.
