Bottomless Brunch usually goes the same way here in Manchester. You order a dish, get some bottomless booze and have a bloody good time.
Well, this brunch at La Bandera is no different – well, except for the fact that you can choose from some seriously impressive Spanish Brunch dishes instead of the usual smashed avocado offerings elsewhere.
This is a truly unique offering in the city – I can’t think of anywhere else that offers up such a range of Spanish brunch offerings, and just looking at the menu will leave you dribbling into your seat.
I was very pleased to see that the menu features the wonderful HUERVOS ROTOS – a Spanish take on chips & egg which you can get loaded with chorizo, jamon, king prawns or mushrooms. It’s one of my favourite things to eat – with the egg yolk coating all of the crispy fried potatoes (and jamon), and elevating them into the upper echelons of greatness.
Also on the menu is a selection of TOSTAS – toasted ciabatta loaded with a variety of toppings. There’s their Pollo Malu; award-winning pulled chicken and mayo booked to a unique recipe from Tenerife, as well as Carne Mechada; piquillo peppers and pulled pork mixed together with a Canarian Mojo Rojo sauce.
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday you can order from the Brunch menu and if you choose their SPANISH FEAST option, you can get a Mixed Board (a selection of Spanish cheese, cured meats and olives), any Huervos Rotos or Tosta, and BOTTOMLESS Cava or Beer for just £26 per person.
