Located right at the top of the brand new 1 Spinningfields, 20 Stories will be led by former Manchester House and Michelin alumni Aiden Byrne, and as such has already become one of the city’s most anticipated restaurant openings.
The restaurant will be split into two distinct areas; a restaurant and a grill, each with its own menu and personality. Both will feature stunning panoramic views of the city however, a chance to check out the city if your company gets a little bit tiresome between courses.
Talking of the courses, as mentioned there are two distinct menus at 20 Stories, with the restaurant operating as a high-end concept, while the grill offers a more casual, relaxed selection.
Dishes in the restaurant include Yorkshire Wolds duck with blackberry, gin & kale, as well as Grilled Turbot with savoy cabbage, Morteau sausage, rosemary & Garstang white sauce.
In the grill you can expect Cod Cheek Fish & Chips, Yorkshire 21-day dry aged Beef, and what looks like a spectacular sharer – Best end of Lamb with creamy potato dauphinoise.
Alongside the two restaurants there will also be a cocktail bar featuring a wide range of boozy treats as well as a menu of bite size bar snacks such as the Ham Hock Scotch Eggs, Oxtail Doughnuts and Pork Rillette.
20 Stories opens for a soft launch on Tuesday 20th February, with half price food available for the week. The restaurant will officially launch on Thursday 1st March.
