A spectacular birthday party with cuisine samples from many regions of India and Pakistan took over Zouk last Thursday.
The restaurant was kitted out with colourful decorations and guests were welcomed with a signature ‘Le Fizz’ Grey Goose-based cocktail by co-founders Tayub and Mudassar Amjad.
Throughout the evening, canapes of some of Zouk’s best dishes circled, building the appetite of guests for the beautiful buffet. Food samples included Kashmiri Lamb Kebab, Gola Kebab and a signature dish Indian Sajji Roast which includes a whole leg of lamb or chicken marinated in spices, served with spicy roast potatoes and delicious gravy.
Entertainment throughout the evening treated guests to performances from mirror people, amazing dances from Bollywood dancers and fire performances.
The evening was kept flowing with a DJ accompanied by a performance from a sax player and percussionist.
Zouk has created innovative food served in a relaxed environment over the past 10 years and was more than happy to welcome familiar faces and Manchester businesses to the event to help them celebrate.
Looking forward, Zouk is ready to head out on its summer tour across Greater Manchester and beyond including Glastonbury, Parklife, The World Cup Cricket and the Ashes to name a few.
Be sure to head down this week and try some of their traditional dishes. Congratulations Zouk, here’s to the next 10 years!
