One of the latest additions to the fantastic Arndale Market, South Manny Flavaz has just announced they are set to open a brand new, super street food diner down on Deansgate – their first-ever store!
It’s seriously exciting news for fried chicken fans and long term followers of South Manny Flavas who might remember their garden cook-off beginnings way back in 2017 when the world seemed a little calmer.
The brand-new flagship store will be situated down on Deansgate, in the Great Northern front just past Peter Street. Spread over two floors, the store won’t just be a fried chicken shop, the purpose-built mezzanine will host a variety of events and live streams from local media and podcast producers.
“Manchester has been good to us, it is our home. Coming from a small back garden in Longsight to opening a unit on one of the most historic streets in our city is a humbling experience. I cannot wait to show you what we have created” – Founder Chef Aaron Lee.
Despite a challenging year for the hospitality industry, South Manny Flavaz is committed to pushing the ‘take out’ experience up to the next level by bringing the fresh touch of modern street food and becoming pioneers that change how take away’s will operate in Manchester.
South Manny Flavas serves classic fried chicken, burgers, loaded fries as well as a whole range of vegan specialities.
SMF Director Mamzy Ahmed said: “I’ve been with SMF since it was founded in 2017. The opening of the new site shows just how far we’ve come. We know that it’s the personal touches along with our niche concepts and the menu features that go a long way, our new store will feature dishes never before seen in the UK.
“Along with our first ever Dessert & Shakes bar and the mezzanine space makes the new store will feel more like a mini restaurant than a take away.. For our team members this isn’t just a 9-5 job, it means so much more to us because we have been able to watch the company grow!” –
You can even get their 10 piece feast for just £30 featuring ten chicken selects, eight hot wings, four mini chicken fillets, four portions of fries and four corn bread muffins.
