There are no secrets when it comes to Stevenson Square’s LiveWell. Before you’ve even reached the front door the messaging clearly tells you what this business does. “Life is all’bout coffee and crystals” reads the sign in the window, along with the promise of “the best oat milk flat white in town”. A bold claim in a city packed with expert baristas, we’re staying well out of the bean-to-cup wars, but can certainly confirm this is one of the most unique places to enjoy a cup of Joe for miles around. Whether caffeinated or not, the focus here is on encouraging people to remember the importance of self care, and properly engage with a sustainable lifestyle that’s both befitting our time, and future-proof for a society that really does need to start taking more responsibility and acknowledge its impact on the world.

A great cafe, LiveWell is also serious about its retail side, which — as everything we have said suggests — is dominated by natural beauty, environmentally friendly, and spiritually-balanced products. This includes a large range of artisan necklaces, bracelets, and rings, alongside crystal fragrances and homewares. A range of sustainable gifts are also available, with great options for little ones including children’s books, recycled plastic stuffed toys, dinner time sets, wooden rattles and silicone cups. All of which have been designed and produced with plenty of love. Those looking to get more involved can also find a busy programme of classes to sign up for in the on-site studio, including power vinyasa yoga, capoeira, and sound healing.
